St. George, Utah – Reva Burrows Alexander, 80, loving sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family members on June 7, 2012 from cause's incident due to a massive stroke.

She and her twin, Ray Asa Burrows were born on a cold Christmas Eve, December 24, 1931, in Hatch, Utah to James Henry Burrows and Laurette Staples. With her mother dying the same day the twins were born, her Aunt Effel Burrows Riggs, a sister to their father, along with her husband Samuel, bundled them up and took them to their home, just a few blocks away and raised them as their own. Reva and Ray were blessed to have two families. Six months later Effel had a son, Leland. The three children were considered ‘the triplets'.

Reva had a wonderful childhood in Hatch, UT. She went to Dixie State College and later served a mission in the Southern States. Reva worked as a secretary for four Salt Lake Temple Presidents and also at the LDS Church Welfare System.
Reva married M. Kay Alexander, December 29, 1961, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She loved to travel, crochet, needlework, play the piano and organ. She was famous for cleaning-up after people. She was a member of the DUP and a literary club. She and her husband lived in Bountiful, Salt Lake and St. George.

She is survived by sisters, Thalia Mickelson and Lucele Hill; brothers, Ray Burrows, Max Burrows and Leland Riggs; step-daughter, Patsy Kunz; grandchildren, Stephanie and Joshua and many other family members.

She was preceded in death by her two sets of parents; husband, Kay Alexander (died June 21, 2011); grandchild, Kristian; her siblings, Omega, Thora, Merrill, Viola, Phil, Thursa and Cal.
A special thanks to ‘A Gentle Touch', Dixie Hospice and Kolob Care Center.
