She is survived by her husband of 74 years, James Garrison, who is 99; her son, Jim and his wife, Marsha Garrison; her daughter, Nina Clopton; two granddaughters, a grandson and two great-grandchildren.
Her life was one filled with her faith and her love for others. Her home was always open to others and a gathering place for the celebration of life and where her love was shared with all. Her love and her pats will be greatly missed by her family and all those who knew her.
The family received friends at Horne Funeral Home.
The funeral service was held at University Baptist Church, 1223 W. Main Street, Charlottesville, Virginia, with the Reverend Keith Smith officiating.
