Requiem High Mass was read for Henry Thilmony, August 11, 1950, at St. Bernard's Catholic Church at Oriska, Rev. Father Dawson officiating. Burial was at St. Bernard's Cemetery.
Henry Thilmony, son of John and Anna Thilmony, was born October 25, 1882 at Valley City.
He was married to Frances Guck January 26, 1909, at Perham, Minn., and thereafter resided on a farm south of Oriska until 1939, when he retired and move to Oriska and resided there until he passed away at Mercy Hospital on August 8m 1950.
Surviving him are his wife and seven children; Rose, (Mrs. Joe Baumgartner), Angeline (Mrs. Joe. Schneider), Dorothy (Mrs. Ed Weber), all of Oriska; Lillian (Mrs. George Rogers) of Port Townsend, Wash., Martin, Valley City, Ervin, Brewster, Wash., Vernon of Oriska, and twenty-one grandchildren; also one brother, Frank of Tower City and three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Jorisen of Leal, Mrs. Julia Williams of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mary (Mrs. Max Hammer) of Oriska.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Mildred and four brothers, John, Joseph, Albert and Anthony, and one sister, Theresa (Mrs. John Flasch).
