Frederick Ridden was with the 13 M.D. Battalion Alberta regiment, enlisting in Calgary April 17 1918. He was in WW l and 2. His brother Albert Edwin Ridden enlisted November 12 1915 in Edmonton with the 51 Battalion. Albert died Nov 20 1952 in Marwayne, Alberta Their parents were William John Ridden and Eliza Waddell.

The "Particulars of Recruit Drafted Under Military Service Act of 1917" for Regtl No 3207888 also lists his father as Mr William John Ridden of Dover England.
