Mr. Quincy Shang-La-Lang Marshall, beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on April 6, 2012, after a short illness. He was born July 19, 1927, in Burnt Corn, Alabama, to the late James and Lornea Marshall.

He was employed by the City of Pascagoula for 40 years. Mr. Marshall accepted Christ on March 17, 2012. He was a strong man with a positive outlook on life. His hobbies were fishing, hunting and meeting new people.

Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his loving parents; his wife, Edna (Rob) Marshall; daughter, Shirley Trotter-Yaye; granddaughter, Tamikia Trotter; 5 brothers; 4 sisters.

He is survived by six daughters, Linda (Abraham) Graham, Vancleave, MS, Elaine (Johnny) Creer, Patricia (Trish) Marshall, Cynthia King, Jeanette Harris, all of Moss Point, MS, Eyonne (Darrius) Williams, Atlanta, GA; three sons, Tyrone (Sharon) Marshall, Norcross, GA, Michael (Bonnie) Williams, Orlando, Fla, Clifton Williams, Pascagoula, stepson, Billy Ray (Mary) Williams; stepdaughter, Luberta Hall, both of Jackson, MS; sister, Leola Irvin, Arkon, Ohio; sister-in-law, Lu Bell Williams, Philadelphia, MS; 5 devoted grandchildren, Josh Williams, Brandon Marshall, Christian Creer, Erick and Sharon Trotter; 20 other grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; caregiver, Louise Ragsdale, a host of other relatives and long time friends.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 5425 Grierson St, Moss Point, MS 39562. Viewing will be from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. Services to begin promptly at 3:00 pm, with the Rev. James Magee, Jr., pastor, officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Turner's Gulf Funeral Service, Pascagoula, MS
