"Mrs. Laura Weldon, aged 72, of Morris died on August 29. She was born on August 4, 1884, in the Town of Oneonta and attended Oneonta District schools. She was married to William B. Weldon on December 9, 1901. She was a member of the West Oneonta Baptist Church. Surviving are six children, Mrs. Doris Brownell of Morris; Mrs. Madge Hotaling of Franklin; Mrs. Elsie Robinson of New York City; William Weldon of Edmeston; Clyde Weldon of Morris and Clark Weldon of Penn Yan; nine grandchildren and two great grandchlidren. Funeral services will be held at Sloan's Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Friday. Burial will be in Hillington Cemetery in Morris."
