Jose B. Garza, age 87, a resident of Riviera, Texas passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 in Kingsville.
He was born January 23, 1925 to Demetrio Garza and Manuela Bustos Garza.
He was a painter for Texas Instruments until his retirement.
Mr. Garza was preceded in death by his parents - (per FAG Volunteer Donna Cann)I could not find his gravesight, but I did find his parents' (Demetrio & Manuela) graves; and brothers and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Sophia N. Garza of Riviera.
His four children, Joe Garza (Martha) of McAllen, Texas, David Garza (Gail), Mary Esther Garza and Ricardo Naranjo(Rick)Garza, Born in Kleberg Co,Tx in 1959 (Jackie), all of Austin, Texas.
Also, nine grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Riviera with Fr. Peter Antony as celebrant.
Burial will follow in Riviera at the Riviera Cemetery.
Services are entrusted to Turcotte-Piper Mortuary, 205 General Cavazos Blvd., Kingsville, Texas.
