Mark worked for Vesuvius as a molder in Charleston, IL. He was US Navy veteran and an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He had a passion for playing cards with friends and family.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-five years, Glenda Montgomery; daughter, Kelly MontgomeryL; son, Dusty Montgomery; sister, Brenda Kay Kuhn; brothers, Gary "Buck", Terry Wayne, and Roger Allen Montgomery; mother, Mary Lou Allison; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Allen Montgomery; brother, Steve Montgomery; and father and mother in law, Jim and Wilma Cook.
Funeral services were held at the Greenwell Funeral Home, Martinsville, IL with Rev. David Wilson officiating.
Burial followed in the Green Moss Cemetery, rural Martinsville, IL with Graveside Military Rites by the Martinsville American Legion.
