Came to Oregon February, 1865 with his brothers Francis Willard & Charles Rollin via New York City & Niceraugua. Married Marian Augusta Cady in Ormo, Wisconsin, May 23, 1863. Work in the family business " McLeran Brothers" Flour Mill & Grocery, Ryan also had a mining business. Ryan & Marian had no children.


MCLERAN -- At Wilhoit, Or., March 27, Ryan S. McLeran, aged 83 years; beloved brother of F.W. McLeran of Wilhoit, Or.; also survived by two nephews and one niece of Portland. Mr. McLeran was a resident of Oregon for 60 years. Funeral Services will be hled today (Saturday), March 29 at 2 P.M., at the chapel of Miller & Tracey. Interment, Lone Fir cemetery. Friends invited.
