Yance Peter Anderson Jr. sadly passed away at age 64 from Cirrhosis of the liver and chronic Alchoholism, and Hypertension. Research found his death certificate from a St. Johns Hospital, Anderson Indiana. A caseworker for the Madison County Welfare Department, Y. P. Anderson, 64 , died Monday morning at St. John's Hospital following a two year illness. He had resided at 2147 Lincoln for 14 years after coming here from South Dakota. He was born August 13, 1906 in Ward, South Dakota to Yance P and Mary Ellen Anderson. Surviving with the widow Helen are a son, James Anderson of Cedar Lake Mich. four sisters, Mrs. Ada Theil and Mrs. Lottie Fargen, both of South Dakota, Mrs. Hazel Kneebone of Colorado Springs, Coloado, and Mrs. Ethel Patten of California, two brothers Lee Anderson of South Dakota and Jess Anderson of Arizona and four grandchildren. Final rites will be conducted Thursday at 10 am, at the Rowe and Weston Funeral Home , interment following in the Grove Lawn Cemetery at Pendleton Madison County Indiana. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 1-5 and from 7-9pm.
