She married Johannes (Hans/John) Hendricks on 2 Mar 1727 in the Reformed Dutch Church of Marlboro, NJ. Their children were: Abraham, Johannes, Elizabeth, William, Conradt, Guisbert and Mary.
After her parents deaths, Johannes and Sarah Hendricks inherited part of the Meiser farm in New York City; this farm was the site of the World Trade Center.
Sarah died on 31 Mar 1782, and she and four of their children are interred in the Old Brick Church churchyard. Their graves are among the oldest in the churchyard being situated directly next to the church.
