Mrs. Ophelia Romero Dronet, 62, formerly of Biloxi, died in New Orleans Friday at 4 p.m. following a long illness. Mrs. Dronet was a native of Youngsville, La., and resident Biloxi 30 years. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
She is survived by two sons, Clovis Romero, d'Iberville, and Lyness Dronet, Las Vegas, Nev., a sister, Mrs. Jake Broussard, Maurice, La., and nine grandchildren.
The funeral will be from O'Keefe Funeral Home Sunday at 2 p.m. followed by services at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Biloxi Cemetery.
