Journal-Miner: Alfred Ireland, of Company C, Eleventh Infantry, U.S. army, died this morning at 5 o'clock of pneumonia after an illness of only four or five days.
Deceased was a native of Green county, Tennessee, and was 45 years old. He had served for twenty-five years in the army.
He has a wife and three children residing in Syracuse, New York.
He was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge in Prescott and was a regular attendant at all of its meetings.
His funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock under the joint auspices of Whipple and the Prescott Odd Fellows. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery in Prescott.
