Funeral services for Delores Falter, 82, of Creighton were held Monday, Dec. 13, 1999 at Zion Lutheran Church in Creighton. Rev Peter Friberg officiated the 10:30 a.m. service. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jerry Ebel, Harold Scholl, Larry Schwindt, Harold Kehne, Don Schwindt, Fritz Haskin and Edwin Boggs.
Helen Dolores Falter, daughter of Elmer (Sam) and Helen (Smith) Clare was born August 21, 1917 at Winnetoon, Nebraska. She died December 10, 1999 at Creighton.
Dolores attended Winnetoon School and Wayne State College. On December 14, 1940 she was married to Gerald E. Hansen in Center. They lived in Creighton. She married Gerald J. Falter in 1872 and moved to Belden. The former teacher and secretary with the ASCA was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing cards, sewing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two children and spouses, Vicky and Ron Potter of Creighton and Jerry Hansen of Treynor, IA; stepson, Gary Falter of Creighton; sister, Ruth Hank of Enid, OK; three grandchildren; two nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
