• Mrs. Eada Pollock, 79, 822 N. 7th St., died in a local hospital Thursday evening. She was born in Beatrice Nov. 19, 1883, and had lived here all her life.
• She had been employed at the Beatrice State Home for 46 years until her retirement Sept. 1, 1946. Mrs. Pollock was supervisor of girls in 1919. When her late husband was made steward, she was in charge of the store room until her retirement. Mrs. Pollock was a member of the Methodist Church and Vesper Chapter No. 9, OES.
• Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Sarah Ellen Sack, Aurora; three grandchildren, Kathy Ann, Patricia Lynn and Debby Sue Goble, all of Aurora; one sister, Mrs. Jacque La Mount, Bakersfield, Calif.; and three nieces.
• Her husband, William Pollock, preceded, her in death Oct. 31, 1959
• Funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 a. m. from the Griffiths-Fox Chapel with the Rev. Walter L. Jewett, D.D., officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery.
