Funeral services were to be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. W.H. Dunn, 55, long-time resident of Greenville, who passed away at 1 o'clock Sunday morning at her home, 2003 Walworth street after an illness of five days.

Arrangements for the services were in charge of Tince Elliott of Lone Oak. The Rev. H.M. Weedon of Albany, Texas was to officiate, followed by burial in East Mount cemetery.

Pallbearers were named as J.E. England, J.A. Richater and Claud Waters of Greenville, G.A. Norton and A.P. Green, Whiterock and A.B. Trimble of Lone Oak.

Mrs. Dunn was born at Whiterock, January 27, 1888 and was the daughter of the late A.J. Stone and Mrs. Margaret Horton Stone, and was married to W.H. Dunn in 1908 in Whiterock.

She had been a member of the Baptist church for 47 years and for many years a member of the First Baptist church here where she took an active part in the programs. Her daily life exemplified her fine traits of character, it was pointed out by her friends, who also paid tribute to her unselfish and devoted attention to her family and loved ones.

Surviving are her husband, W.H. Dunn, two daughters, Ruth and Dorothy Nell Dunn of Greenville, her mother, Mrs. A.J. Stone, two brothers, A.H. Stone of Whiterock and L.A. Stone of Greenville. She was preceded in death by one daughter and a son.
