However Find-A-Grave contributor Fay Hoskinson set me straight. She said:
"Aaron was our Great Grandfather and his parents were James and Leah Moore Kendall (who married 07 Dec 1818 at Jefferson, Adams County, Ohio). Aaron was originally buried at Roberts Chapel Cemetery in Flat Rock Township, Bartholomew County where his parents and first wife Margaret are buried. When second wife Lavina passed in 1910, Aaron was moved to Flat Rock Cemetery in Shelby County, Indiana.
My sister and I just confirmed this information June 22-24, 2015. His death records confirm James and Leah Kendall as his parents. And the burial records at Norman Funeral home in Hope, Indiana confirmed the two times burial of Aaron.
From what I have been able to deduct from census records, there were multiple Aaron Kendall's in Indiana. But this Aaron was in Bartholomew County, Flat Rock Township, close to the county line."
Aaron first married to Margaret Elizabeth Vaughn (1831-1862) on June 1852 at Bartholomew County, Indiana. Aaron and Margaret were the parents of one known child, namely:
1. William Benjamin "Bedford" Kendall (1853-1920)
After Margaret died, Aaron remarried to Lavina Eliza Reed (1843-1910) on 14 Sep 1865 at Bartholomew County, Indiana. Aaron and Lavina were the parents of ten known children, namely:
2. Ida Kendall Hilt (1866-1948)
3. James Eli Kendall (1868-1922)
4. Marshall Kendall (1869–1917)
5. Elda Aaron Kendall (1872–1921)
6. Ona Kendall Thompson (1874–1966)
7. Landy Haven Kendall (Rev.) (1876–1965)
8. John Kendall (1878–1963)
9. Rose Belinda Kendall Snyder (1880–1972)
10. Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Kendall (1882–1928)
11. Grover Cleveland Kendall (1884–1941)
