From what I can find Alwine and 5 of her sibblings (Carl, Franz, Frederick, Minna and Julius) all died from Scarlet Fever within 2 months of each other and all in 1870. The Feinauers had a total of 13 children, but only 3 lived to be adults. They were Edward, Charles and Robert.

She was buried on the 27th of July, 1870 age 12 years, 7 months, and 26 days.
