High School Senior from Odessa High School, Odessa, Texas who was murdered in 1961 in what was known as "Kiss and Kill Murder." The story is chronicled in the book, "Washed in the Blood." by her cousin, Shelton Williams and entitled "A Kiss Before Dying" in "Texas Monthly", March 2006.

∼Elizabeth will be forever missed by her family and many friends. May she rest in eternal peace.

This is a photo of an article concerning Betty's killer Matt Herring, whom Better herself in a post humus letter asked he not be blamed due to his caring for her doing her this favor. Mostly likely due to this he was exonerated.
