Irene R. LaSota, 73 of Berquist road, died Saturday, March 30, 2002 in St. Mary's Hospital.
She was born in Royalton, MN, graduated from Royalton High School and St. Cloud State University, and was a former member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton. Irene wo rked as a medical technologist at Fort Snelling Veteran's Hospital in St. Paul. She lived in Duluth since 1995.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include a brother, Clarence LaSota of Duluth; and several nieces and nephews. Her caregivers for the past three years were Phil and Jan Hanson.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Royalton. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Royalton. Arrangements are by the Dougherty Funeral Home, Duluth.
