BESS "CHIC" LaVERDI, 75, of Calvert City, KY passed away at 2:15AM Saturday, July 07, 2012 at Lourdes Hospital.
She was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
She is survived by three sons, Randy LaVerdi and his wife Becky; Edward J. LaVerdi and his wife Molly and Gary B. LaVerdi and his wife Amye all of Benton, KY; six grandchildren, Dominick LaVerdi of St. Paul, MN; Amanda McGuire and Sean McGuire both of Murray, KY; Megan LaVerdi, Adam LaVerdi and Hannah LaVerdi all of Benton, KY one great granddaughter, Madison Fox of Murray, KY three sisters, Maryanne Reczka of Bath, PA; Bonniemae Iannozzi of Norristown, PA and Carol Smith of Benton, KY; four nieces, seven nephews, several great nieces and nephews and one great great niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jospeh LaVerdi and one sister, Joyce Ulrich. Her parents were, Edward L. Reczka and Bessie A. Lowe Reczka.
Services: Private graveside services will be held at the Benton Cemetery.
Visitation: Friends may call after 5:00PM Monday, July 9, 2012 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory.
