ALEXANDER, BLOSSOM DUPUY

A resident of Brusly, she died at 12:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 1996, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 75 and a native of Brusly. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Port Allen, 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 to 9:30 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Brusly, at 10 a.m. Monday, celebrated by the Rev. Phil Spano. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Bethany and Karl Manning, Morgan City, and Pat and Mel Whaley, Brusly; a son and daughter-in-law, Ward "Matt" and Jan Lee Alexander, Brusly; three sisters, Mrs. Wilbert (Rome) Morales, Mrs. J.D. (Gette) LeJeune and Mrs. Ted (Delores) Bergeron, all of Brusly; a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne C. and Rena Hebert Dupuy, Brusly; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Ward J. Alexander; parents, Romey P. Sr. and Uta Hunt Dupuy; two brothers, Romey P. Jr. and Huey J. Dupuy; and three sisters, Geraldine D. Caillouet, Lorraine D. Alexander and Uta D. Prejean.
