William "Bill" Belanger, 82, of Glendale passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2004.
He was born in Clifton, Kan., on Nov. 12, 1922, to Willie and Alvine Belanger. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for Edison as a right-of-way superintendent for many years. He loved traveling to different countries and enjoyed reading and antiques. He loved and enjoyed visiting his family. He was a very giving person, who will be truly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, John Belanger and Emery Belanger.
Survivors include a brother, Harry Belanger and his wife, Betty, of Visalia; three sisters, Rose O'Farrell of Las Vegas, Nev., Marie Waddle of Visalia and Ila Scarbrough and her husband, Howard, of Visalia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Recitation of the rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel in Visalia. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Visalia, with burial at Visalia District Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to donor's favorite charity.
