She was preceded in death by her husband: Leland Stanley; Son: Ronnie Keith Stanley; Daughter: Patricia Ann Stanley; Brothers: Clifford Harold Ellis, James Matthew Ellis, William Edward Ellis, & Able Ellis Jr; Sister: Mildred Hester Ellis Priest; Father & Mother-in-Law Reuben "Rube" & Bertha Stanley.
She was survived by her son: Philip Duane Stanley Sr; Special Daughters: Carolyn Halburnt & Sue Newport; Twin Brother: Lawrence Lee Ellis; Nephews: Larry Kenneth Stanley, Gerald Duncan, Dale Duncan, Sonny Stanley, Johnathon Rutherford, Steve Posey, & Scott Posey; Nieces: Karen Terry, Zora Marlow, Gina Rutherford, & Becky Chitwood; and several other special family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. until time of services to begin at 12 noon in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida with Bro. Joe West officiating. Music will be provided by family. Burial will immediately follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
