TAYLOR, Donald "Duck," 89, of Chesterfield, left this life on Saturday, July 7, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley; five children, Donald M. Taylor, Wanda (Ricky) Butler, Gwen (Mike) Smith, Teal (Alan) Stahl, and Ken Taylor; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was the son of Emmie and Robin Taylor, and the eighth of ten children, all of whom preceded him in death, along with one grandchild. Mr. Taylor was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is a long time active member of The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter Day Saints. In 1987, he retired from Reynolds Metal, Bellwood Plant, after 31 years. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). His funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter Day Saints (Belmont Ward), 3541 Cogbill Rd. Interment to follow in Dale Memorial Park with military honors.
