Mrs. Willie Neeley
Mrs. Willie C. Neeley, 73. Route 6, was pronounced dead on arrival at Holston Valley Community Hospital at 2 am Sunday following a brief illness. She was a lifelong resident of Scott County VA and a member of the Morrison Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Neeley was the widow of Roy S. Neeley, and a brother Chauncey D. Collings, preceded her in death Feb 15. Survivors include two sons, Marvin Neeley and Reginald Neeley, both of Kingsport; two sisters, Mrs.
Mabel Moffitt and Mrs. Mayme Gardner, both of Kingsport; one brother, Gardner Collings of Kingsport & 2 granddaughters. Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home is in charge.
NOTE: Although, this marker says born 1898, believe that is wrong. She is not on the 1900 census & her SSDI record gives birthdate of Dec 26, 1902
