I have no idea who the BURLESONs are who are buried at the Bishop-Blair Cemetery. However, there was a BURLESON family shown in the 1850 Barbour Co., AL Census and the father Aaron was born c1782 and died in 1858 in Barbour Co. His wife was Deborah (Jackson) Burleson (1785-1850) and they had the following children and maybe others:
Seaborn J Burleson (1807–1883)
Simeon W. Burlison (1808–1873)
Sarah G Burleson (1810–1852)
Aaron D Burleson (1812–1880)
Several of these children also married and raised families in Barbour Co. Some of these family members could possibly be those who are buried here.
