Pat was born in Fort Worth on Oct. 4, 1937. She was a 1955 graduate of Polytechnic High School. Pat loved the Lord her God with all her heart, mind and soul. She dedicated her life to following Jesus Christ and studying and teaching His word. She believed in one Sovereign God who sent His only begotten Son to die for the forgiveness of sins, so that by believing in Him and His resurrection we may have eternal life. She lived her life knowing that she would be forever in the presence of His everlasting love and grace.
Survivors: Husband of 55 years, Ted Black; daughters, Lea Ann Cockerham and husband, Bryce Jr., of Augusta, Ga., and Sherrie Cyrier and husband, Mark, of Hurst; and grandchildren, Drew Cockerham, Bryce Cockerham III, Catherine Cyrier Fankhauser and Caroline Cyrier.
