Mrs. John Schad, 65, died Tuesday evening at her home in Valders following a lingering illness. Theresa Schad was born Oct. 22, 1890 in the town of Cato, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Tuschel. She was married April 27, 1909 at Clarks Mills. Her husband died Sept. 14, 1951. She was a member of Christian Mothers Society of St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Jerome Schneider of Osman, Mrs. Joseph Grady and Mrs. Donald Ross of Valders; three brothers, Edward of Whitelaw, Anton and John of Town Cato; two sisters, Mrs. Gilbert Rappel of Reedsville and Mrs. Markus Tuschl of Madison. A son and daughter also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Friday at the Berge Funeral Home, Valders and at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. The Rev. Michael Fetko will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
