Thressa (Bosgraaf) Brouwer, age 84, of Hudsonville, was peacefully called home to be with her Lord on Monday, June 11, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Howard Brouwer; daughters, Bonnie and Bernie Grysen, Beverly and Greg Steigenga, Gale and Jim Krikke; grandchildren, Amy and Brad VandeBunte, Erik and Dawn Nederveld, Brad and Chalee Nederveld, Jeff and Rebecca Steigenga, Mike and Jess Steigenga, Josh and Kelli Krikke, Heather and Adrian Butler; 15 great grandchildren; brother and sisters, Ralph Bosgraaf and special friend, Maxine, Edna and Bert Pyle, Bertha Brink; sisters-in-law, Gladys Bosgraaf, Ruth Bosgraaf; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Bruce Nederveld; sister, Sadie Blaukamp; brothers, Harm Bosgraaf, Ben Bosgraaf, John Bosgraaf, Bert Bosgraaf; sisters-in-law, Mina Bosgraaf, Rose Bosgraaf, Jess Bosgraaf, Alnora Brower; brothers-in-laws, Al Blauwkamp, Jay Brink, Earl Brower. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Hudsonville Reformed Church with Rev. Don VanSlyke officiating. Interment Georgetown Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family at the VanderLaan Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Association of West Michigan.
