Fannie L. Munshaw, 95, of Raymore, MO, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Rehab Center of Raymore. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at the Union Star Cemetery, Union Star, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to City Union Mission, 1100 E. 11th St., KCMO 64106 or Odyssey Hospice, 4911 S. Arrowhead Dr., Suite 310, Independence, MO 64055. Fannie was born June 6, 1917 to Lee and Fannie Gross on the family farm near Union Star. She graduated from Union Star High School in 1935 and married Howard R. Munshaw on Friday, July 13, 1934 in Atchison, KS. In addition to being a homemaker, she worked at the Mid Continent Council of Girl Scouts. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, John Gross; sisters, Mary Garrett and Bettye Gross. She is survived by her son, Howard (Mary) Munshaw of Papillion, NE; daughter, Pat (Don) Trembly of Peculiar, MO, daughter, Sally (Tim) Grove of Raymore, MO; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
