Mrs. Dovie Cawthon

Funeral services for Mrs. Dovie Talbot Cawthon, 68, of Mount Juliet, who died Tuesday at her home, will be at 11 a.m. today at the residence.
N.M. Locke will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Juliet Cemetery.
Mrs. Cawthon, wife of R. V. Cawthon, retired minister of the Church of Christ, died at home at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night. Death came from a heart attack. Relatives said she suffered from a heart ailment for several years.
A native of Wilson county, near Green Hills, Tenn., Mrs. Cawthon was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Talbot. She received her schooling at Neely's Bend.
In 1906 she was married to Mr. Cawthon who was then a young minister. He survives. They have lived in Mount Juliet for many years.
Mrs. Cawthon was a member of the Mount Juliet Church of Christ.
Other survivors include six daughters, Mrs. C. J. Garner, Madison, Mrs. Mary Poe William, Mrs. Vester Locke, Miss Jamie Cawthon, Mrs. Harry Jennings and Mrs. Kenneth Hackney, all of Mount Juliet; a son, Rufus Cawthon, Lebanon, 20 grandchildren an three great-grandchildren.

Juliet; son, Rufus Cawthon of Lebanon, Tenn.; also 20 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. The remains are at the home as above where funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Nov, 6 1952, at 11 o'clock. Conducted by N.M. Locke and W.C. Geer.
