Guy Bryson, 74, of Saluda, died Friday, April 1, 2005, at Providence Hospital in Columbia.
Born in Unaka, N.C., and the son of the late Hattie Bryson, he was the husband of Julia Claire G. Bryson. Mr. Bryson was first married to the late Ruby Odell Bryson. He was retired from DuPont Savannah River Plant and was a member of the Hollywood Ruritan Club and was a founding member of the Rooster Club. Mr. Bryson was a member of Corinth Lutheran Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Surviving is his wife, Julia Claire G. Bryson; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Debbie Bryson of Kingsport, TN; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Bryson-Damon and Karl Damon of Aiken; two stepsons and step daughters-in-law, Jimmie and Darlene Bland of Aiken and Hansford and Sherral Bland of Batesburg; one stepdaughter and step-son-in-law, Kathleen and Gene Farris of Aiken; three grandchildren, Tracy Bryson, Todd Bryson and Kelci Bryson; and three step-grandchildren, Julianne Spires, Trey Bland and Tyler Bland.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, April 4, at Corinth Lutheran Church with Pastor Bill Ebener officiating. Interment will follow at 4:30 p.m. in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Corinth Lutheran Church, 3178 Denny Highway, Prosperity, SC 29127.
