Son of Edward Anderson Hildreth and Annie J. Thurber, husband of Ethel May Munsell, whom he married on December 19, 1907 in Brooklyn, New York.

On September 12, 1918, Charles Daniel Hildreth, aged 32, born December 13, 1885, was shown living at 76 Main Street, Freeport, Nassau, L.I. He stated that he was the owner of a restaurant located at 31 Main Street, Hempstead, Nassau, NY, and that he was married to Ethel M. Hildreth, also of 76 Main Street, Freeport, Nassau, L.I. when he registered for the draft during World War I.

Obituary - Charles D. Hildreth, 65-year-old retired restaurant owner and operator of Miami, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 426 10th Avenue Northeast. He came here seven and a half years ago from Miami. Mr. Hildreth was born in Sag Harbor, Long Island, N.Y. He was a Mason and member of the Ocean Bay Blue Lodge 180, F. & A.M. of Miami. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel M. Hildreth, St. Petersburg; a brother, Harold Hildreth, Patchogue, N.Y.; and two sisters, Mrs. George C. Ashby, East Williston, N.Y., and Mrs. Madeline Wallace, Hicksville, N.Y. Arrangements will be announced by Baynard's.

Also - Charles D. Hildreth, 61, former restaurant owner in Miami and Miami Beach, died in St. Petersburg Wednesday. He was active in the restaurant business here in the early 1920's. He is survived by his wife.
