Olga lived in Worth County, Iowa, until December of 1964, then moved to Rose Creek, Minnesota and January of 1996 to Austin, Minnesota and resided at St. Mark's Retirement Home the last 10 months of her life.

She attended public schools of Worth County and married Edward Prestegaard in Deer Creek, Minnesota April 8, 1914. She was a life member of ALCW, president of ladies aid, Sunday school superintendent of Deer Creek Valley Church and transferred to Our Savior's, Lyle until the death of her husband and then to Our Savior's, Austin.

She died March 14, 1968 at St. Mark's Retirement Home at the age of 73, due to a stroke. Funeral services were held March 17, at Deer Creek Valley Lutheran Church, Reverend G. C. Knutson officiating. Interment was in London-Deer Creek Cemetery with Worlein Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

At the time of her death, she was survived by two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Sylvia) Schuster, Mrs. Eldon (Ethel) Norland, Austin, three sons, Orin of Austin, Arthur of Madison, Wisconsin, Juel of Marine on St. Croix, 24 grandchildren, two great grandsons, three sisters, Mrs. Bennett (Ida)

Cowles, Portage, Wisconsin, Mrs. Walter (Stella) Jones, Lynwood, California, Mrs. Marvin (Nina) Behling, Menomonie, Wisconsin, four brothers, John Hendrikson, Downey, California, Pearl and Sophus, Northwood, Iowa, Hartwick Hendrikson, Portage, Wisconsin.

Out of town people at the funeral came from Madison, Portage, Menomonie, Wisconsin, Northwood, Mason City, St. Ansgar, Carpenter, Nora Springs, Iowa, Albert Lea, Gordonsville, Glenville, Geneva, Austin, Rose Creek, Lyle, Waltham, Brownsdale, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Olga was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one granddaughter, her parents and one brother.
