Mrs. Clara Garner, age 74, of the Pulaski Health Care Center, died on August 25, 1982, at the Pulaski Health Care Center.
Funeral services were held at Bennett-May Chapel on Friday, August 27, 1982, at 2:00 p. m. with the Rev. Mack Pinkelton officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
A native of Limestone County, Ala., Mrs. Garner was the daughter of the late John and Cora Jacobs. She was a member of the Moriah Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include, five daughters, Mrs. Ruby Walls, Pulaski, Mrs. Clara Miller, Cinncinatti, Ohio, Mrs. Joyce Smith, Laurel, Miss., Mrs. Frances Hendrix, St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Linda Benevitist, Chicago, Ill.; five sons, Robert Garner, Pulaski, Jerry Garner, Cinncinatti, Ohio, Tommy Garner, Pulaski; 36 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas Jacobs, Jesse Jacobs, Monroe Jacobs, all of Athens, Ala.; and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Brown, Huntsville, Ala., and Mrs. Frances Pitts, Athens, Ala.
