DIES AT HOSPITAL

Mrs. Annie Barton Worsham, 49, of Rockmart, Ga., Route 1, died in a local hospital today at 1:30 a.m. following several year's illness.

She was born in Sugar Valley, Ga., October 7, 1898, daughter of the late D.C. and Mary F. Dillard Barton, and had been a resident of Polk County for two years and prior to that time had made her home in Lindale and Rome. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are the husband, W. F. Worsham; four sons, Emmett Lemming, of Rome Route 3, Robert L. Worsham, David and Billy Worsham, all of Rockmart; one daughter, Miss Edna Worsham, and one grand-daughter, Polly Worsham, of Rockmart, Route 1; two brothers, Fred and Samuel E. Barton, of Lindale Route 1; four sisters, Mrs. J. W. Yarbrough, of Lindale, Mrs. Robert Lee, of Kinston, N. C., Mrs. Amanda Berry, of Atlanta, Mrs. Maggie Jarrard, of Detroit, Mich. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Cedartown Route 3, with the Rev. Johnny Boatner officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

The body will lie in state at Jennings Chapel until time for the services. Pallbearers are requested to meet there at 9 a.m. and include: J.D. and G. P. Barton, Don Berry, J. L., J. C., and C. M. Yarbrough.
