English Monarch. She was the queen consort of Charles I and the daughter of Henry IV of France and Mary de Medici. She married Charles I in 1625, and bore him 9 children. She was the mother of two kings, Charles II and James II, who was also James VII of Scotland. Her body was buried at the Cathedral of Ste Denis, and her heart entombed at the Convent of the Visitation in Chaillot. The convent was destroyed during the French Revolution. Note: Heart only.
