A native Pennsylvania blue limestone stands in the southwest corner. It faces in the opposite direction of all the other graves. The inscription is hardly readable, being scratched in by a hammer and primitive tool of sorts. It has a footstone. The Palmer Papers deciphers the words as HI…PRVHE and lower down on the stone W R B. Mike Rowley and Vicky Taylor came up with HERR V followed by the name Johan Wilm Rober. with 1777. Interesting is the fact Philip Stech served in the revolution with three Herr's who were in his company, the 2nd company of the 4th batt. That would predate the acquisition date of 18
