Services were held Saturday afternoon at the Pettijohn Chapel for Mrs. Lora Eads, 86, who died in a Rogers, Arkansas hospital last Tuesday. The Rev. Howard Varner officiated at the services. Burial was in the Forest City cemetery.
Mrs. Eads, a native of Holt County, had made her home in Rogers with a daughter, Mrs. Josephine Britt, for the past twenty years. She was a member of Oakley Chapel Methodist Church there.
She is survived by Mrs. Britt and five other daughters: Mrs. Nora Pile of Oregon; Mrs. Edna Busch of Inglewood, Calif.; Mrs. Elsie Albright of South Gate, Calif.; Mrs. Nelle Staley of Anaheim, Calif.; and Mrs. Kay Nystrom of Laguna Beach, Calif.; two sons, Newell Eads and George Eads, both of South Gate; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
