In the September 5, 1888 Cheyenne and Arapahoe Indian Census, she appears with her brother Red Shin, born 1846, his wife May Pee Woman, born 1848, and their daughter Pipe Woman, born 1886. Also in the household is her sister Howling Woman, age 4, her brother Mexican Red Shin, born 1870, and Red Shin's niece Mad Girl, age 1. Howling Woman was the age that White Buffalo Woman's daughter Bear Raising Mischief would have been and could have been that daughter.

In the June 30, 1892 and 1893 Cheyenne Indian Censuses, White Buffalo woman appears as a mother, age 28/29. Living with her is her daughter, Bear Raisin Mischief, age 8/9.

Starting in 1898, she appears in the yearly June 30 Census of Cheyenne and Arapaho in Oklahoma with her husband David Pendleton. In 1898, also in their household is her daughter (David's step-daughter), Bear Raising Mischief, age 14. Bear Raising Mischief appears in the household through 1902. In 1903, 1904, and 1905, David Pendleton and White Buffalo are the only two in the household. In 1908, their son Frank Pendleton, age 2, appears in the household.

David last appears in the Cheyenne/Arapahoe census in 1931, at age 80. His death on August 31, 1931, caused by senility, at age 80, a full blooded Indian, married, is recorded in the census enumerating deaths April 1, 1931 - March 31, 1932. He held allotment 522, ID 617.
