Rose was born in the town of Chilton on Nov. 4, 1902, daughter of the late Peter and Emma (Heimann) Loehnertz. She changed the spelling of her last name when she began her career as a baby nurse, first in Chicago and then in the Chilton area.
Survivors include, three sisters, Mary Loehnertz of St. Paul Home in Kaukauna, Margaret (Mrs. Melvin) Weiss of Glenbeulah, and Gertrude Loehnertz of Milwaukee; 18 nieces and nephews and 36 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Pauline, Sister Mary Constans and Elfrieda (Fritzie); five brothers, Constant (Conny), Quiren, Sylvester, Alvin and Alois; a nephew; a great-niece; and a great-nephew.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 am, Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2000 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton with the Rev. Gary New S.D.S. officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:30 am. until the time of service. Special thanks to the staff at St. Paul Home for all their loving care of Rose.
