Mrs. Christopher A. (Ida) Vickers, 89, Blanchardville, died Friday (January 20, 1961) at a Dodgeville hospital.

She was born Nov. 21, 1871, at Yellowstone, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. William Paynter. In 1907 she was married to Christopher A. Vickers and since that time has made her home in Blanchardville.

She was a member of the Methodist Church, Blanchardville, and the Woman's Society of Christian Service.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son Keith Vickers; her parents; four brothers and four sisters.

Surviving are a daughter, Vada, Mrs. Arthur Juve, Blanchardville, with whom she has lived the last five months; a son by a previous marriage, George Goelz of Des Moines, Iowa; two grandchildren; and four great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Methodist Church.
