Departed this life, on December 28, 1885, at 2:30 P.M., John Behringer. aged 66 years, 9 months and 14 days, born in Nernberg, Germany, March 14, 1819, husband of Elizabeth Behringer.
Dearest Father, thou hast left us,
We thy loss most deeply feel;
But 'tis God who has bereft us,
He can all our sorrows heal.
His funeral will take place on this (Wednesday) afternoon at two o'clock, from his late residence, No. 418 West Barre street. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
