THOMPSON, FLORENCE H., 88, of Doraville, Ga., formerly of St. Petersburg, died Monday (Feb. 14, 2000) at Meadowbrook Nursing Home, Tucker, Ga. She came here in the 1930s from her native Harmon, Ill., and moved to Doraville several years ago. She retired as a registered nurse in the newborn nursery after more than 30 years at St. Anthony's Hospital. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America. Survivors include a daughter, Mary J. Kitchen, Doraville; a son,Thomas G., Largo; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, Decatur, Ga.
