Amelia Bauer, known by family and friends as "Amy," passed away July 22, 2012 at the age of 88. Amy was born in Susquehanna, Penn. on November 26, 1923. Her parents were Dominick and Maria (Molundrucco) Marchetti. The family moved to Endicott, New York when she was six years old. The day she turned 18 she went to work for the Endicott-Johnson Shoe Factory. In 1943 she met Leonard Bauer, and they were married on June 23, 1943. Amy worked as a waitress in the 1960's and 1970's in Arizona and Colorado. In Denver she worked at the Brown Palace and the Broadmoor Golf Club in Colorado Springs. Amy is survived by her brother of Endicott, New York; her 2 sons, six grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, plus many nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Leonard, and six sisters Angela, Mary, Helen, Alice, Virginia, Sylvia and three brothers, Armi, Louie, and Carlo. Memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1150 Crandall Drive, Colorado Springs, Saturday, July 28th at 2:00pm. A reception will be held at 5745 Southmoor Drive, Fountain, Colorado 80917 after the memorial.
