Mr. Rector was born in Warnerville and had lived in this city 12 years. He was employed by the railroad for over 50 years and was a member of Capital City lodge, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen, a member of Woodlawn IOOF lodge, and had been an Odd Fellow more than 50 years.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Florence P. Rector he leaves a daughter Mrs. Walter Ebel of Thompsom's lake; a son, George S. Rector of Binghamton; a stepson, Charles Fortier Northampton, Mass., a stepdaughter Mrs. Leon Pitcher of Maine, NY, 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
