John Healy was considered a patriot in the Revolutionary War.

Nellie Annie (Fountain) Cannon, a member of the DAR(Daughters of the American Revolution), listed John Healy as one of her Revolutionary ancestors on her application. (Nellie Annie was my paternal grandfather's mother.)

Dawn Lamphere sent me an email with the following:

We did, indeed, find record of John Healy buried in the West St. Johnsville Cemetery. This cemetery is located about 2 miles outside of St. Johnsville proper as opposed to Prospect View/St. Johnsville Cemetery right here in the village.

The transcript we have from lot # 65 indicates the following:

Healy, John bone June 18 (?), 1756, diend in Oppenheim May 27, 1835
" Elizabeth Delrimple, his wife, born (illegible) died April (?) 1834
" Anthony, died July 22, 1872 aged 83 years
" Ann, his wife, born August 3 (?), 1791, died (illegible) aged 67 years, 6 months, 10 days
================================

Note: There is a discrepancy on his birthday. Some records have Jan 13th as opposed to June 18 in the notes from the sextant/caretaker.
