After the death of Pomeroy in 1860, Emma married Frank Collins, who was a lawyer, on 13 Feb 1868 in Toledo. They were the parents of Alfred and Frank.
After Frank's death in 1871, Emma ran a boarding house.
She applied for a widow's pension on 9 May 1893.
