Paul was the oldest of three sons of Paul and Hazel Nelson Ozburn. He married Dorothy Fay Noel on July 30, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri. They had two children during their marriage, a son and a daughter.
Paul was a WWII Army veteran. He was a life member of the 13th Airborne Division Association; a life member of the VFW Post 1000, Independence, MO; and a life member of the American Legion Post 21. He was also a member of the Attica Masonic Lodge 502, Sloan, IA; Scottish Rite Bodies, Sioux City, IA; and Abu Bekr Shrine Temple, Sioux City, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert G. Ozburn.
Survivors include his son and daughter, a brother, Donald E. Ozburn, Raytown, MO; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and his friend and companion, Ruth.
Funeral services were held at Park Lawn Funeral Home.
